Show Hire Terms

Masquerade offer special show rates and terms for Schools & Theatre production companies Only  These rates are given at the discretion of masquerade and are NOT available to private party bookings.

Our charges & conditions set out are subject to change by Masquerade at any time without notice.

  • A Minimum of 10 costumes must be booked and hired at any one time to qualify for the special discounted show rate. Any costumes booked under this quantity will not qualify for this offer.

  • Bookings are Priced and based for a maximum of 1 weeks hire period only to cover the length of a standard show production. thereafter excess charges are applied { see charges }

  • Wigs, Boots. Shoes & Accessories are priced separately and are NOT included in the special show rate .However they may be booked by paying their own hire fee which will cover the 1 week hire period ( see below )

  • Standard Terms of business apply, Customer ID will be required to show Company or School details.

  • Deposits on collection may still apply

  • It is advised that a meeting is held in advance to discuss your requirements so we can advise you accordingly and help with your wants & Wishes to the best of our ability.

  • Masquerade take great care & Pride to ensure that all costumes are 100% perfect in style & Fit and we rely on your information to make this possible ….However, Masquerade will not accept responsibility for incorrect sizes being issued which may result in costumes not fitting correctly, or changes in cast or requirements resulting in costumes not being suitable.

  • For advance show bookings, We will require either a non refundable booking deposit or full payment to allocate your chosen goods.
  • A non refundable deposit will be required for future orders & will enable us to allocate your hire goods and allow us to dedicate our time to prepare your order for collection { Any cancelled orders will loose this deposit } The final balance must be paid prior to collection upon receipt of the final invoice { a minimum of 7 days prior to collection }
  • Full payment will be required in advance on orders that are booked and due for collection imminently.
  • Funds must be cleared in advance of collection of show / costume order…. Failure in this may result in a delay in the costumes being able to be collected.
  • At Masquerade we will carry out any alterations and adjustments that are required to ensure a costume will fit based on the sizes we are given by you …. We do not make any charge for these alterations. However if such an instance should occur where an item has been altered to fit and reasons: Ie: Weight loss / gain should result in us having to make extra adjustments to the costume this will then become a chargeable item. The charge for this will be determined by Masquerade at the time dependant on the work involved.

  • Any items / Costumes cancelled within 7 working days up to your collection date are non refundable and will still be charged.

  • Upon return of the goods any damage / lost items will be chargeable and late items may incur a late fee set by Masquerade.

  • Costume orders are to be collected and returned in person to and from the store unless otherwise agreed in advance where our Mail order service is used.

  • Unless otherwise agreed in advance with Masquerade we respectfully request that you do not bring or advise the cast members to visit the store to view, choose or try on their costumes….. This is to ensure that we do not get crossed wires with what is required,and ensures we have clear and positive directions from one person…. YOU !  Should any cast members turn up in store to view their costumes it may result in them being refused or their costumes not being available to view.
