Hire Charges & Pricing

HIRE CHARGES:

• Costume hire charges will vary dependant on what costumes or goods you choose. All costumes & goods have set hire charges, this may alter according to extras you may wish to add to your order.

• We accept Cash, debit & credit cards for all payments & basic hire charges start from £30.00 +vat up to £60.00+vat per costume & can elevate up to £80.00 +vat for the superior costumes such as our beautiful leather suits of armour.

• Charges are based on a 3 – 7 day hire period, allowing you time to collect and return your costumes around your timetable and our opening hours and also allows for mail order hires.

• Longer periods of hire are available at a small excess charge.

• Wigs hire at £10.00 – £30.00 +vat  each

• Boots & Shoes hire at £12.00 – £15.00 +vat each

• Children’s costume hire at £10.00 – £25.00

• Corporate Companies & Event Companies: If hiring a quantity of costumes you will be offered very competitive rates {Dependant on quantity of costumes required }

• Schools & Theatres, we offer special discounted show rates. Please see Show & Stage Productions 

• Orders returned late will be subject to an excess charge  {A minimum of £10+vat per costume / per day will apply }

INSURANCE

• We offer an optional insurance on all hire orders this is our Accidental Damage Waiver “ADW”

• This insurance will cover against minor accidental damage such as drink stains, make up, small damage to hems, zips, etc. The cost is £4.00 per costume & covers up to the value of £40.00 per costume. Corporate / large and show orders will carry a compulsory charge from £20.00 per order. 

• Insurance does not cover: Loss, Theft, Miss-use of items that causes damage, Boots & Shoe repair,  Cigarette burns, Damage that causes non repair of goods.

• Insurance will NOT cover any loss, theft, or replacement value of any items. In such cases the hirer will be charged the replacement cost set by Masquerade.

   

DEPOSITS

• All orders require a security deposit to be left on the hire start date to ensure the hire goods are returned to us safe & sound

• Deposits may be left by a cash or void credit / debit card swipe which is NOT banked { your card details will be held securely until the goods are returned to us and destroyed / handed back to you upon complete return of the goods }

• Companies who have secured hire goods using a Purchase order will not be required to leave an extra deposit.
