Costume Hire By Mail Order

At Masquerade we offer our Costume Hire service by Mail Order for those not on our doorstep, allowing you the benefit of hiring our lovely costumes door to door…. and in just a few simple steps!

Step 1: Browse our costume gallery & portfolio to Choose the costumes you love ❤️  { or contact us for guidance } Take note that we are not Amazon , So we require enough time to discuss, prepare & ship an order !

Step 2: Call or email us to discuss your requirements. We will require an Email with all information we advise to help you and to check size and availability ☎️ 

Step 3: Pay over the phone to secure your goods 💰 

With a wide & vast selection of costumes available, we endeavour to cater for all enquiries. We guide you from start to finish with all the information we require to enable us to help you as smoothly and fuss free as possible.

To make life as simple and straight forward as possible for you, we will help inspire your choices and decisions & you may then book your hire goods as far in advance of your function as you wish or contact us closer to your event date.

Please observe that due to the ever growing demand for our mail order service & the nature of our costume hire service we do require usually at least 2-3 working days notice prior to shipping to finalise an order to allow time for preparation & packing. { **possible exceptions may apply **}

 All orders are shipped on a next day 24 Hr secure delivery. ** excluding weekends & Mondays.

** Due to the current demand for mail order hire, Masquerade will deem it necessary at busy times to implement a cut off time for all mail order bookings, or at times suspend our mail order service if we reach capacity, to enable us to still offer the best service possible and allow us time to prepare and pack pre-booked orders in time without jeopardising the quality of our service to our customers.

• All orders are supplied based on information supplied by the hirer. We endeavour to supply all orders to meet your specific requirements but do rely on correct size information being supplied in advance by the hirer to enable us to supply the correct size costumes.

• If you wish for help withMeasurement Guidelines please download these guidelines to assist you. If you are requiring a range of costumes for a group of people / corporate event / stage production you may also download our Corporate & Show Size Chart to fill in and supply to us to make things simple and easy for both yourself and us.

• Delivery Charges both ways are payable by the hirer.

• The Delivery charge will determined by Masquerade based on size and weight of the parcel, ensuring the goods are insured. 

• All orders will be sent to you prior to your function date via DPD, Royal Mail Special Delivery / Other Courier. This will be dictated by the size & weight of the parcel

• Charges are based on the number of costumes and weight / size of the parcel. We will quote you  immediately upon an enquiry so you can build this into your budget

• Basic delivery charges Will start at £15.00+vat for costumes to include handling and insurance. Smaller orders may be at a lower rate. Orders carrying larger or heavier goods will be at a higher rate. You can view further carriage Charge information on our Carriage charges page. 

• Delivery’s will normally be 1 or 2 days before your function date…. This can be discussed & specified on booking, **

• We can ship to an address of your choice, this does not need to be your home address. You may have it shipped to a neighbour, friend, relative or place of work where the parcel can be signed for. However, we do not ship direct to the place of your function such as Venues or hotels unless arranged & agreed specifically with Masquerade.

• Return delivery is the responsibility of the hirer. Goods must be returned to the business address only as shown on our site / invoice. Returns must be direct door to door next day service. DO NOT use local drop points as we will not collect orders from these points, and orders will be returned to you and mean further cost to yourselves. 

• Full payment is required to secure any costume order prior to shipping in the timescale set by us here at Masquerade and allowing us time to prepare & pack your order in advance of booking the courier. Any delay in payment will potentially jeopardise the shipping time.

• A standard period of hire covers for one full week, to include shipping days. For the average function this is ample to allow for shipping one day, arriving, using and shipping back. {example: ship out to customer on a wednesday, order arrives with customer Thursday. Customer uses goods and ships back special or next day delivery to arrive back with us by the following Wednesday } Hire periods may be extended by paying an excess charge, so please just mention this to us and we will quote you accordingly. 

• For security, Masquerade will require all Mail Order enquiries in email with full requirements, sizes and dates along with the full invoice address that matches the card used to make payment, and also the delivery address should this be a different location.
